Front crank seal and possibly back.

Rear structure rear main and clutch took me 4 weeks. Lol.

 

Just let your truck idle.

Look underneath of it and watch it as it runs. If you see dripping from the front of the crankshaft or the back of the crankshaft, then your seals are leaking. You have to check to see if there isn't a leak above that but the telltale sign is a regular drip or if it's really bad, a stream.

Do it when the engine is warm, the oil will be thinner and the leak will be more visible if It is even there.

You'll have to check it, but I wouldn't put much faith in what the guy from TA says.

 

Well you have to actually watch it.

If you see a constant drip drip coming from the front or back of the crankshaft that's what it is.

If you just see oil on the ground you have to investigate what that is it could be something else.

 

Follow the leak up, looking for wet areas. Could be coming from anywhere above. Could be the structure/block area, or a sensor, or valve cover, even the oil pan at the back. Wash it good, and watch it. It’s probably the rear main, best to make sure. Usually if you take the 4 bolts inspection plate off, you’ll find it oily. You can clean out any extra grease out of there. Then check it later for oil. If the rear structures leaking, the time to fix it is when doing the Clutch and rear main seal. The rear structure, ( engine side bell housing ) seals the whole rear of the block. When it’s off, the blocks open. Best to change the oil pan gasket and motor mounts, since they come off anyways. Here’s pics of mine before and after I resealed it. It was leaking bad.
