I made a set and just drive front axle up on them. Gives lots of room for activities under truck

Is it enough room to build a bunk bed? Asking for a friend...

12 ton is plenty to carry in the truck. Plenty for DIY and almost any brand. Just carry a piece of hard lumber 4x4.

If your running a shop using it multiple times a day, or a service truck. Go 20 ton. Holds up longer. Grey, or Lincoln.

Getting old, fat and lazy here.
Was a time I never complained about a manual jack. Them days are gone. Go for air over. You won't regret spending alil more for the air assist. :occasion5:

I keep a 20 ton bottle jack from harbor freight on the Truck. It fits under the steer axle, and in the side box.

    TGUNKEL Thanks this.

Do you have some pictures of these? I am looking to build a couple for work under the steer axle. Thanks

20211211_070612.jpg 20211211_070544.jpg These work pretty good and give lots of room under the truck. I would make my next set a little different. Mostly make them longer to make the top level longer and put a 4x4 on the edge for a stop. Getting out 4 times to make sure I'm not going over the end is a little annoying.

Just plain old 2x12 construction lumber. Maybe the should be made out of something harder
