My neckbeardy nephew contacted me about a workout routine. He wants the girls to notice him. (SIGH)
One of the hardest things to explain to a picklebrain is Self Improvement has to be for SELF! You have to want to become the best version of you for you. Yes, I know it sounds conceited, but before you try to get anyone else on planet earth to like you, Y-O-U have to like who you are. Contrary to popular belief, there is absolutely nothing wrong with and everything right with liking who YOU are.
“But Six, that’s being arrogant.”
Is it? If AMod is bringing his A Game and I bring mine and we sit at the table and compare notes, there is mutual respect. I don’t have to be better than AMod. That’s not the goal of the A Game. I have to be the very best version of me. That will bring me contentment.
“But Six, what if you and AMod are competing for the same prize?”
And AMod’s A Game is better than mine? Congratulations, AMod. You win.
“But Six, what if AMod’s B Game beats your A Game?”
Default setting will eventually come into play. If your B Game is really good, do you really want to chance setting your default setting on B? You will lose your A Game. When times get tough, you will not be able to bring the A Game. So, even when it’s overkill, bring the A Game.

Take tarps off. Tie some rope/compression cord to it. Throw rope over the top of the load . Pull rope until tarps drag back over the load. And tarp it how u want it...
i probably wouldve just left once i found they are gonna destroy my tarps by putting straps over it and doing a hack job. Unless it paid crazy money.singlescrewshaker, Eldiablo, shooter19802003 and 5 others Thank this. -
@singlescrewshaker
I'll give some more tips. Get you some mild steel brushes for drill. That fit in the holes and clean them everytime they are off. Im not here for a debate. But never seize the whole stud after cleaning them. The nut won't ever touch half, but it will keep corrosion down. After they are coated in seize, take a rag and wipe studd down. You want it in the threads not up on them. The one place you do not want never seize is on the rim, or nut ball seat surface.
Use a torque wrench.
If on the side of the road, air gun is fine.Last edited: Dec 11, 2021

What the heeell happened? That sounds not good. Did you get the ankle checked?
Not to go alarmist, but you can have some serious problems with fractures in the ankles, to the point of losing the foot.jamespmack, cke, Lostkeys and 5 others Thank this. -
When I started I was still living in North Dakota and stayed for another 6 months up until we decided we didn’t have any business living there since I left the oilfield so we moved just north of San Antonio.jamespmack, cke, singlescrewshaker and 3 others Thank this.

I was throwing my tarp back up on the rack, swung too hard and lost my balance. Saw the cab faring heading straight for my face and knew it was going bad from there no matter what, so decided to take my chances with the asphalt vs head first into someone that might break my neck.
Stupid of me. I knew the angle wasn't right from the beginning but tried for it anyways. Normally I'm smarter than that.Swine hauler, jamespmack, cke and 8 others Thank this. -
