Current Info on Willis Shaw Express

These guys are somehow connected to Commercial Carrier in Florida. They paid terrible back in the 80's when I applied there. I made more take home hauling concrete for $6 and hour....................

 

Rug, Swift is still in the works, but it sounds like it might be a while before they can get me in. In the mean time, I'm covering all the bases. I've got several possibilities going right now and who ever will get me in first, that is where I will be going.

Markk9, if that comment was directed at me for going to Swift, they are just one of a couple companies willing to look past my termination from my last job and give me a chance. They may be a bottom feeder company, but sometimes you gotta start somewhere. If you are refering to WSE as a bottom feeder, I'm not sure about that. There is not as much info about them on here as there are the other companies that everyone cries about, but what I have seen has been pretty good so far.

 

Yep bottom feeders! Like you said gotta start somewhere. I was turned down by one company because of a termination by a non trucking company.

 

The last company I talked to that turned me down for being fired said it didn't matter where I was fired from. I specifically asked them if it mattered if it was fired from a trucking job or from any job. They said it was any job. So theoretically, I could get a job somewhere for a month or two, then quit. Of course that will probably lead to other problems, such as being out of a truck too long.

I'm just hoping that one of these companies that aren't shy about a termination will give a chance soon.
