We got guys that live near 90, near 60 and several at 50 miles away..
Don't know how they do it.
The one who is 90 said he puts cruise on at 73 and takes him an hour 15. He also has a has a brother in town he will stay at once a week.
These guys w the long drives bid off hours so traffic is rarely a problem but that's a younger man's game.

Sweet jeezus, We start out at $28 in Portland and top out at $29 before the contract is up next year. The non-union plant in Hilsboro starts at $31 an hour. I'm not sure of the PDI plant or some of the other ones around here. They didn't give a wage in the ad or in the initial interviews, they just kept saying what I would gross and I knew that Hilsboro was in the 30's so I thought Portland was too.....nope. We are several dollars before what alot of other companies are paying.

I don’t know, but this thread is dated now:
One week after I transferred to ga, Pittsburgh got a $2 raise, they are at $38/hr now (I don’t know about Benicia and Galt)

Kysr, LtlAnonymous and Dennixx Thank this.

We are under contract for another year and will get a bump in 2023 to about $37 and a 2 cent mileage to 64.
We will be looking for a significant raise for 2024 and once again will try for 100% hourly rate.
