Starting at roehl next monday

Read the threads and take everything we say with a grain of salt. Your experiences will be your own and different from ours. Roehl is a good company to start with because they will make safe & legal a high priority. I came as an experienced driver and went to orientation in Marshfield. Most of my orientation involved two days of powerpoint type sessions on a pc, then going home until it was time to head out. I'm on a hometime fleet out of East St. Louis.

Roehl also tends to be rather anal and often tries to drive your truck from a cubicle, some drivers are fine with that and some of us it drives up a wall. Miles tend to be weak and especially so with the down economy. Good luck and you could do far worse than Roehl.

 

There are two members that each created a thread and posted their daily log at Roehl training, I suggest reading both of those threads, that will give you a good idea what you'll encounter.

good luck to you...Roehl didnt quite work for me but as preacherman says, each experience is individual. preacherman...i finally made it out of mclousy and getting ready to head out with crete today!!!!

Good luck, I would think almost anything would be better than that company. 7/4-3 is probably the best option for me until I can get my own truck.
