And currently, I am the you that was! Thank you for this. I've been so discouraged lately seeing so many negative reviews on leasing. I'm more confused than anything, and i'm also beginning this o/o journey completely ignorant as well. I have been driving a year now for a company and little pay, but after my fiance being let go at 5 months pregnant with our second and having to move in the middle of inflation, i'm choosing to be more determined than deterred. However, i know buying a truck is not realistic for me atm, and this thread you've created is definitely giving me hope. Any guidance, suggestions, advice, and a few prayers for this family man would be greatly appreciated ! Stay great.

Yes. Endlessly seek the kingdom and all its righteousness because without that being primary nothing matters. Everything accomplished inside of that will work out perfectly, catered specifically for you and secure.

Please explain to me where the discouragement came from?
I asked if that’s what they were taking

The cost of that truck new divided into 18 months plus interest or whatever they take is about $9,000 a month plus whatever other expenses such as fuel repairs etc all before you get a dime for living expenses
I’m not saying you didn’t do it or it’s not possible but most can’t afford or have the possibility to generate that $$ all before they any to the house

Most can’t afford a regular $3-4000 truck payment for the same reasons

Your right it is kind of all fake until you post the numbers- even when they are so positive and praise Jesus!

Jesus always has the credit. Thank you for assisting righteousness with not crediting men.

We are not talking about the Word of God. We want a sermon on a lease purchase of a 579 in 18 months:rolleyes::rolleyes:

All in, it's probably closer to $10k.
That said, if you had no home life whatsoever and just ran for 18 months, $2500 a week is definitely doable.

    ok, here’s the sermon.
Work hard, so hard you’ll cry and forget what it’s like not to cry. 18 Months later you’re done. Possibly in 12 months but I had personal set backs that 99% of you won’t have.
