Where is everyone #5

How many miles and what'd it cost you? I've got one at 610k and my dad has one at 600k both seem to be running great.

Edit: I see the second message answered my first question.

 

Not sure if the images are clear but the one with 844 is when I got home after the rebuild and the 848 is right now. The shop I had do it charged me 5000 for the work I provided the parts which ended up turning out to about out 16000 all together including labor

 

I've heard horror stories of 30k plus rebuilds. I've also heard it's a sob to rebuild due to the cgi block.

 

Seems like low mileage for a rebuild.

Compacted Graphite Iron.

Supposed to be light and strong.

This is the extent of my knowledge on the matter.

 

It's the same tech as Ford used on the late model 7.3 and up. Supposedly stronger and lighter but more finicky.
