    Lol...I believe it.
I actually got 2 brand new trailers while I was there....the rest.......prolly as old as I was at the time.....lol
Actually snapped a brand new trail king 3 axle beam in half right in the parking lot. Loaded a little Grove RT and as I was lifting the trailer off the ground.....snap. literally broke it in half. First thing to ever be put on it! Turns out it was bad metallurgy and had some air pockets in it from what it looked like. Scared the crap out of me!

    cke Thanks this.

Anderson Trucking Services out of St. Cloud, MN if you need training. OD freight ain't for the faint of heart.
Don't Lease! Too tricky to balance early OD freight and a lease at the same time, especially if you get a somewhat problematic truck. Wait until you get comfortable with OD and get somewhere that pays better before you look into buying a rig.

If you’re willing to tarp a lot and be out for a month or better check out Smokey point distributing. I’ve been here 7 years and do a lot of oversize, you will have to work your way into it though. I’ll be well north of $110k this year, a new driver that works hard can be $90k+ pretty easily.

We pull a lot of flats steps and double drops, regular and stretch versions. For what it’s worth most of the companies mentioned in the thread dont/rarely pull flats if that matters to ya.

feel free to pm me with questions. (Disclaimer: we have a 5k sign on bonus and 5k referral bonus, but it is a good company with nice equipment)

There’s a small Company in Atlanta that does heavy haul oversized , home every weekend , that will hire drivers with no trucking experience at all.

They have a 9-12 month training program , where you ride along for half pay of what the driver gets.

They require a —-spotless —- credit criminal and driving record though .

guess they figure if you can’t obey the traffic rules driving a car, can’t drive a car without running into things , can’t stay out of trouble with getting arrested , and can’t manage your money , you probably ain’t got what it takes to be a heavy haul oversized driver .
