Teams have ran out to the west coast but as far as solos the farthest west I've heard them run is Arizona or Utah. Me personally I've never gone farther west than Grand Junction, CO

Yeah, I've seen their trucks in Arizona and Las Vegas.
He'll probably need to choose another company to run California.

He had told me Danny Herman and Freymiller was on that list. I didn't think to mention them, but Legends Trucking out of Yuba City, CA may be a good fit. One of my friends who lives in Texas actually left Climate and went to work for them. All of their freight lanes are 11 Western States. He did really well over there before he decided to look into a career change. He mid 50s in terms of cpm and was hitting their bonuses with regularity. I believe OP can get on there since he's got a year in now

That is a company I have thought about. There is a driver on another forum who is sharing his experience with them. He lives in California. I don't have a year of experience...YET. Scouting out companies before I hit that year of experience.

I think I screwed my opportunity to hire on with a different company. CFI has been in the process of working my application. The recruiter said that because of my background, it has to go to safety department. Well, yesterday, I just had a wreck. I ended up in an area that I never should have been in and tore up one of the fairings on the trailer. I did some landscaping damage. In the process, I got the axle of the trailer stuck on a boulder of ice. That required a tow truck to get the trailer off of it. There was damage done to the brake system of the trailer. I talked to safety with my company and owned the mistake. I didn't blame it on anyone else or anything. I simply gave an explanation as to why I believe it happened. To sum it up: I was out of hours and on PC. When I missed a turn, I got impatient and didn't take my time to think things through. Lesson learned. Kind of screwed myself, going forward though.

    Boondock and bryan21384 Thank this.
