Yes, although we put so few miles on them - maybe 40K on one and 10K on the other per year - that it takes a long time to get 250K. We have a 6NZ in our dump truck. It's a good engine, but I think the Es probably had a better block.Eldiablo, 77fib77, Rideandrepair and 8 others Thank this.

My IFTA average for the fleet last quarter was 6.41. Our lowboy tractor was 4.75, grossing up to 140K. Two of your loads, so I should be able to double that for comparison? Lol
To be fair, our lowboy runs about 40% empty, so yeah I won't win any mileage awards. But guys with brand new heavy haul trucks don't beat 5 mpg either.
I bought our current tractor and lowboy in 2009 for 60K. Fuel is still cheaper than new equipment in our situation. -
