Could also tie u up for an entire day dealing with broke down equipment or what ever other can of worms you are going to open working for someone that wants you to work for free.
How Much would you charge for this load??

I think $324 was more than fair!
Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
Oh another charity. I'll donate my old fifth wheel plate so she can strap it to her ### and move it herself

In this particular case, I'd also be concerned about the condition of the trailer, its insurance, registration etc. However, If I decide to do charity, I do charity for free. In this case, it would not be such a big deal, all it takes is my time. I think everyone can find their reasons to do something for free, which otherwise is chargeable or not worth undertaking.
For instance, helping to move something for the church in your parish, helping to move furniture for your neighbor who had earlier assisted your wife to a hospital, or helped you with the roof repair etc. I mean you do these things, not thinking through the business eyes.Last edited: Dec 23, 2021

Your not going to get rich on that move. Yeah, you was more than fair.

Its a waste of time, occupying your truck for that money. Be better doing it for free and get a receipt for tax write off.

Just because SHE's running a charity doesn't mean I am.Siinman Thanks this. -

Today, my uncle tried to ask me to move another drivers loaded trailer 7 miles for $75, I told him give me $250 or my truck don’t exist. Don’t run any truck local for hamburger money
JoeyJunk Thanks this.
