Here's the schematic for your system. Hope this helps. I threw a red box around the actuators and where they are plumbed to.

Wow, that is a pain. The shop said if I had small arms I could reach it from behind the fuse panel. I managed to get the three tiny nuts off but there's a screw attached to what feels like the shaft of the plenum door. I'm going to have to remove the glove box and dash support mostly because I cannot see the manner in which it is still attached to the actuator and I'm somewhat feerful that is I remove that screw the door is going to fall insude the plenum. I know my friend had his done to his Peterbilt and he paid $1,000 labor!

Tell your friend with the Peterbilt that he did not get ripped off paying $1000 labor. I have done this job a few times and I will not touch it for under $1000.

Is the air supply to the cylinder regulated? My 98 Western Star blows the cylinder often.
