I will finish my 6 week training program Febuary 5th. I am starting to look for companies to finish my training and drive with. Can some of you experienced drivers give me some ideas of who and what I should look at. I would like to look at some local companies as well as some of the larger ones. I was told about a company out of Ft. Worth Tx that run reefers, but I would also like to know about Tankers(I might go that direction). Please give my your thoughts and opinions.

My advice to you would be to do your homework. Research a company thoroughly. Also I would stress to read between the lines when you read forum messages. You may get good solid advice or you may just be reading the ramblings of a disgruntled whiner. Ask a lot of questions before committing to a job and take time to think over your decision. A lot of states are implementing idle laws so when you choose a company be sure to inquire about their idling policies because you don't want to freeze or bake.

    Good luck.

No the company is Raider, the school speaks highly of them. Just wondering if anyone can shead some light on it, I never have seen anything about them here.
