Well still at summitt and love it. No longer part time. I have been full time city for a few months. After being used to the demanding carriers....Heartland, these people are a piece of cake to get along with.

 

Driver020976, glad to hear they are taking care of their drivers as that is great news.

 

Depending on the season, they haul a lot of loads from Imerys Marble in Marble Hill, GA to Washington Penn Plastics in Elizabethtown, KY. I used to be a truck loader at Imerys before getting laid off and I would load up to 6 of their trucks per shift if that particular product was in season. Sometimes (but not often) I even had the same driver come twice in one shift. It's normally a 6 hour trek to KY & back but he did it a few times during my 8-10 hour shifts. BTW, loading marble dust on a reefer sucks!

 

I run a fueling program for all Summitt Trucking drivers and we primarily service the North-East, South-East and Mid-West areas. This is the only trucking company I've worked for but I've heard many of our drivers say that we are the most driver friendly company around! But, don't take my word for it, come by and visit us.

 

Do anyone know if summit hair test and if they do how far do they go back
