    More than likely its the pine dunnage they set the spools on..
    Slowly sinking in till it bottoms out on the trailer deck..

    Indirect method, ie the chain does not hook to the load, the wll is complete, if it connects to the other side. Direct method, tie down hooks to the cargo, the wll is 1/2 of the tie down.

    When I've hauled spools, I put 2 chains through each, and put them in coil racks.
