That'd be gross before taxes, yes, U2?
I did $46.5k on 118,734 miles. Miles are down 12% from 2008, and my gross is down about 5%.
Here's the important thing to remember about Prime. In a year when other companies were laying-off, going out of business, trimming benefits and/or cutting wages - Prime maintained our benefits at current levels and scheduled rate increases were delivered for us company types. A very tough year for lease-ops though.
None of this is "cheerleading." Its fact. Keep the left door closed, pick-up and deliver safely and on-time, and you can duplicate these results.future driver, Ducks and JustSonny Thank this. -
U2 and IP -- are you both dispatched out of Springfield?

I have read a bunch of reviews and after being accepted to Stephens Trans and to Prime, I think I am goin with the smart choice and choosing Prime! I leave out Monday and will be arriving in SprMo and will start class Tues the 12 of Jan 2010. I am really excited and hope that I all the great training I've heard about. My recruiter Tammy has been the best, she is really on the ball. I am kinda curious about shipping lanes thru the Tupelo Ms area. Does anyone know if Prime runs alot down Highway 78 from Memphis to Birmingham or any strong lines thru Mississippi?JustSonny Thanks this. -
Good luck!!orion3814 Thanks this. -

I just went through orientation and I have been out 5 days now with my instructor. It has been a great experience and I am learning alot and having fun. The long instruction/training period is going to make a world of difference when I finally get out on my own.
When you get there, learn as much as you possibly can and have fun.
Good luck! -
i live in arkansas about 3 hours from prime in missouri and want to take my own vehicle to training. do they have parking while your out on the road? i thought that i would bring my pickup home at some point when i get off the truck for home time and my trainer could pick me up here. i live 1 mile from I-40 ?? do you think that would work??

Yep, you can drive your own vehicle to Springfield and park it there as long as you want... it's no problem.
As far as taking TAH when you're with your trainer... I don't know how they would work that for you, but they will work something out to get you home when your trainer takes TAH... and they will engineer a way to get you back on the truck too. -
have been through there a ton to i thought it was pretty all the rollin hills and what not very green in the summer just beautiful till you get to the stop lights down by birmingham lol
