I would like to get a seat from my truck this year but there are so many different seats on the market.

I usually see 1 or 2 on display when I go to the freightliner dealer, but is there somewhere that you just go sit down and try them out?

It seems very odd to me to spend $1000 on a seat and have it sent to you and you have no idea what it feels like.

And what features do you look for?

I found some independent truck/part stores that have a decent selection. Don't know about any in your area

Suburban seating in Lodi NJ is the only place I've seen in the northeast that has an actual showroom to test seats.

My local KW dealer and the chrome shop down the road from them always had 6-12 different seats on display but the last couple months they’ve been sold out. I just bought a new National from Fleetpride so now they only have one left in town between 2 stores.

I like a basic National with 2 armrests.

I've been looking to buy one for like 6months now. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because like you.....I'm not buying sight unseen. Only place I've was able to sit in a few was at Iowa 80. I know 4 states has a decent online selection, but don't know about in person. My problem is, I need the small pedestal mount.

Freightliner Omaha has about 8 seats on display and in stock. I just bought 2 bostrom wide rides with low base so seats are only 4 inches off the floor. Some have the universal base already. My western star is the 5” side to side and 12” front to back bolt pattern. Peterbilt in Council bluffs IA usually has a good selection of seats in stock

I usually trash around 4 states and the Petro at Joplin when test driving seats. And still end up getting the best deal at Peterbilt.....

I find the seats Inc legacy is good for me, I'm on the smaller side about 160. Can do a 14hr day without my ### being sore. It's hard to pick one without sitting in it 1st. Quite a few guys like the legacy
