Anyone know if it’s a good outfit or not. I’m in the Houston area. Getting some pings from them on indeed job site, wondering if I should pursue it.

Think it used to be Sunoco and now is Energy Transfer.

Anyone know what it pays, company culture good or bad ?

    Thanks

I’ve known a couple guys that tried to get on with them in the Midland/Odessa/San Angelo area, supposedly the hiring process is very stringent.

I don't know about their crude oil side, but the hiring process on their fuel side is needlessly complicated.

Despite having a valid medical card Tlthey sent me to Concentra for a new one. Of course Concentra wanted me to do a sleep study, pay $1000 out of pocket for a CPAP machine, use it for a month, and then send in "proof of compliance" just so that I could go to the next step in the hiring process.

I wasn't willing to spend all that money on a CPAP, and they weren't paying that much to begin with, so I withdrew my application.

The hiring process is a pain in the butt. Back in 2014 When I work there the money was just so so. I'm free come around 1800 to 2000 every two weeks. There's much better paying jobs out there right now.

At one time, they had a funky type of rotating schedule. Can’t remember off the top of my head, if was on the crude side or fuel side.
Guys told me that were dispatched for a 12 hr day, but they had a start time of 14 hrs., after they clocked out the previous shift.
