What if it Snows?

We have a customer in Wyoming who has developed an odd habit of only ordering product for January delivery. I think their sole purpose here is to scare the crap out of the unsuspecting flatlander.

 

I'd be all over that tree in a New York minute. That's some good heat right there. I suspect that's one of the better fringe benefits of working for the gooberment.

 

You can't find a piece of property anywhere up here that doesn't have cords of stacked/bucked wood waiting for anyone to come and remove. I have 3 trees right now down just sitting I can't get to work on from my illnesses. The drought has really put a burden on all older trees out here.

 

I lost 3 orange trees in the last storm. Never fails after a good rain soaking the winds pick and down they go.

 

Lots of Kentucky has kinda the same issue. The Ash borer has decimated that species. It's absolutely fantastic burning wood. Problem is, all the areas where the insect has been found are quarantined so folks can't even sell it if they wanted to. Of course you can kiln heat the wood and get it certified but what's the point.
