To me having a customer is always a good thing, I don't judge a customer. I rather have one than not have one. You know what I mean ?

I don't like to judge a customer. I always see it as good rather than adding something bad about it. lol

When i was 15 I worked in retail: they gave a 3 minute talk during a monthly store meeting about “qualifying customers”.

Can you determine in a few short minutes/ ideally a few short sentences (whether a customer is worth having? And if so,) what kind of interaction will be the most worthwhile to have between your business and that customer?
^ that was the gist of that 3 minute opener. Very few people understood the depth of that idea. I didn’t at the time either.

It’s not hard to get customers.

Very true. May I add that it's also hard to keep good customers. If the customer is really a good one you can bet there are other companies chasing their business. Stay on your toes.

I have two books in my top desk drawer. One is for good customers and potential customers who might turn out to be good. The other book is for bad customers...late payers, non payer, liars, people who'll throw you under the bus every chance they get.
    Guess which book is bigger?
