    black ice is clear on a bare road, where all you see is the blacktop. hence "black ice"

    that is just a slippery road and he slid off into the deep stuff

    It's BETTER/SAFER to Hit Mirrors (like in New Zealand Tunnels) than glide to right and reduce/eliminate Driving Safety Rating.....or LIFE!!
