Have you priced Blue Parrot headsets? Company pays for the fuel I get the points.

    Grumppy Thanks this.

Worst thing is, it's still the same $1 worth of chicken.

I don't have so many now that I stopped overpaying for fuel at Pilot but I used to let me kids get treats on road trips. They don't eat junk food much at home, thanks to their Mom, so when we go on trips together I tell them to get whatever they want in the store, within reason of course.

Also, use those points on basic supplies. Bungee cords, straps, bulbs, bottled water, etc. The crap in those stores is WAY overpriced but I don't think about that if it's points I'm using.

Usually the points only last about 1 year, then they are taken off.
It is a rolling thing, so points gained 1 year ago will be removed that day this year.

I guess you could actually speak to the truck stop people that gave you those points in the first place, as to how long they last.
Read the fine print in the rewards information, or something?
Because each one is a bit different.

If you really want to know... go to the source.

    Sounds dumb, I know.
But sometimes getting the information directly from the source is the best thing to do.

From the PFJ TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT:

"Except for Purchased Points, if a Member’s card remains inactive for a period of four (4) calendar months, as permitted by law, the Member will lose 250 MyRewards® Points per month starting on the first (1st) day of the fifth (5th) calendar month. As permitted by law, the Member will continue to lose 250 My Rewards Points on the first (1st) of each subsequent month for each month of inactivity. Once the card has been inactive for (12) calendar months, all points will be deducted from the account, as permitted by law. These MyRewards® Points are charged as a maintenance fee for inactive use."

Mine expired because I never went to a big truck stop chain for over a year. Had a few hundred bucks still in there.

One day I pulled into the ones in Florence Kentucky to find that I had to actually pay out of pocket for my two oversized bottles out of the drink case.

I was offended. Whoops. Don't be me and have to pull $4 out of the wallet. Use em or lose em.

....who wants to buy me some flying j pizza? Y'all are rich.

Why use them for a tool you can write off? Spend the points on things you cant write off, and your cash on things you can write off.

    86scotty Thanks this.

I have used points in the past to pay for things like mudflaps and pigtails. Sent the receipts in and got reimbursed with real money.
