Road atlas to find the city and check google maps sattelite view and plan my route from the nearest highway. Make multiple routes in case i miss my turn also an exit route to get back out of there after being emptied. If uncertain about amything then call the customer. But understand sometimes you have to take those directions with a grain of salt as well because they may not take into account ur in a truck

Ahh the days of pay phones, collect calls, 1-800 numbers, 1-900 numbers even! The joy of waiting behind a line of people to call someone...The thrill of making a collect call and trying to get your message through without them accepting the charge...
Though I did see one a couple weeks ago. I wish I had taken a photo. It was like seeing an old friend.

When your Dispatcher assigns a load to the driver the assignment had a customer address. Type that address into your truck GPS and or enter the address into Google Maps.
