It's not being used to determine "clean health" it's used as a tool to spot sleep apnea. This is what you get when you give the government permission to make you..."safe". HOS, BMI, seat belts, helmets, vaccines etc etc are not your choice in the USSA. The government is your master.

That’s just it, that’s what I’ve been trying to describe as well. Almost every single professional athlete technically would need a sleep study done by their criteria. Lol

No it isn't a FMCSA requirement. They left it up to the doctor. Go find another doctor.

    Thanks for the link.

I believe your screen shot and the link are not in sync.

@goga In the provided link, OSD starts on page 35.

You seem to be quite knowledgeable and can back it up with sources. To your knowledge, is there any thing preventing a medical examiner from issuing a two year card to a driver who is actively and effectively being treated for sleep apnea?

A little background. I’ve been going to the same ME for 7 years, the first two years she gave me a single year card, then two two year cards. On my last visit she said something changed and she was no longer allowed to give two year cards to people with SA. My reports are nearly 100% usage, I’ve literally missed less then ten days in the last 7 years. She’s a sold practitioner so I don’t think she has anyone above her making arbitrary rules like concentra.

    thanks in advance.

I like that Sentence. It appears (whether intentional or not) to be a stab at posting non credentialed information and I appreciate the sarcasm! Please continue as T.T.R. Rules allow!
I've not done such research regarding a 2 Year Card.
After the celadon debacle I had no further issues in the Sleep Apnea realm.

You're Welcome and I hope something here helps.

    Equals 6, not 7 years.

Drivers all across this Country appear to receive different Medical results.
Heck there are different endings with 2 (or more) people having nearly identical "Sleep Apnea" QUALIFYING results.
Tobacco appears to "play a large part" in diagnosis prior to a Sleep Study.
Off course B.M.I. is the main "classification" regardless of Diabetes or Heart Murmur/Palpitation.
If One is "over that special number", I Hope the Best Conclusion For You.

There's Somebody (or a Group of somebodies) overseeing Every Medical Practitioner.
Maybe not in other Countries, yet I've done ZERO Other Countries Research.

a BMI over 40, you have too be extremely fat, and I mean, looking down, you can’t see your feet. I don’t think someone needs a CPAP mask, but needs help with there diet.

Why bother? They're already dead, they just don't know it yet.
