Ahhhh, apparently you didn't get the msg. People don't get colds or flu anymore. Gees.....get with the times man.

 

Anyone have a guess what it costs to repaint a T800 day cab?
Minimal body damage to repair, but need a good sanding and prep, then quality paint job, all in black.

 

I got quoted $12k locally with frame blasted and painted. It really depends alot of how much prep work needed and the paint you want to use.

Edit: you ever get your skidsteer and snowthrower situation figured out?

ReEdit: Peterbilt in Missoula quoted me $30k and a 12 month wait. Lol....no joke.

 

Some time away from the iron was just what the Captain ordered. Walked into the gym in destroy mode tonight and tore it up. Haven't had this level of motivation in a while.

Was quoted 13k on a daycab about 7-8 years ago. Single stage, single color.

 

I had no idea getting a truck painted was that expensive!!!! Maybe I won’t be doing that this spring. Holy crap!!!

 

Just to paint the frame I was quoted $5k. It's alot of work. They have to remove everything and degrease it, then sandblast it. It's just alot more work than you would think it is.

 

My frame is good. I just need the truck done one color. FLD120 flat top small sleeper with a wind deflector on top. I’m sure its a lot of work too. That just seems like a ton of money.

Wish I would have taken auto body at vo-tech LOL. Then I could give it a half arsed spray.
