O-rings are a PITA in this weather.
I hated dealing with them while hauling liquid fertilizer under -25C.

I keep forgetting the truck's not new anymore. At least these days I have a place to work on it. Still would rather fix piddly crap like this now and then than fork out payments every month.

Gentlemen, a question.

Your truck has 4 batteries, you are going to put a battery charger on it. Hook the chargers leads to 1 battery, and then it will just spread evenly between all 4, or no?

 

I never liked the s10 seating position. Too low.
I preferred the upright seating position of the Astro/Safari vans.
I've had 4 of em. 2 I ran over 500 000km. They were awesome commuting to Ft McMurray.
I also had 2 olds cutlass cieras with 2.5 iron dukes. I've had 7 iron dukes.
And 7 cavaliers, none newer then 1994.
I loved my 80/90s Gm beaters.

 

I put the pos lead on the first battery and the neg to the last in the row..

Same here. Then load test each battery separately. One bad battery will kill the bunch.
