If you take the time to read thru this site you will find the information you need to make an informed and hopefully intelligent decision.

Personally, I would not go with either CRE or CRST, nor would I go thru any company sponsored schooling. If you are seriouse about begining a career in trucking you should set yourself for success and not just jump in and hope for the best.

Personally I believe you have more opportuniies and chance for success by going thru a private school. If you are broke and that is why the expensive 'free' training offered by companies who make a profit selling the dream, then you really should consider waiting until you can afford to make better choices.

I was at the cascino the other day, and it is very much like the trucking industry. There were tons of slot machines and a lot of people feeding their money in hoping for a win even though the slots have the worse odds in the house, this is like the big bottom feeder companies, CRE,CRST, Werner and so on. Then you have the tables like black jack and craps, the odds are better, but, requires more thought or knowledge than the slots, these are like your smaller to medium companies. Now you have your poker tables, which require a stash of money and much more knowledge, this is like the OO's.

There have been those who broke even or maybe a bit ahead playing slots, even though the odds were not in there favor. With CRE or CRST the odds are not in your favor, but, with luck you can break even or maybe a bit better.

I really do see your question as to which one CRE or CRST would be best, like asking me which slot machine will you not lose your money in.

I Drove for C.R. England in 2008 and would NOT recommend them, it's just my opinion and my own personal experience, but they don't seem to treat drivers very well and they push their lease program as soon as you finish training or as soon as you are hired. There are reviews of different companies so I would try that before you decide. Good luck!
