Where is a good place to look for stuff like side fairings (skirts) for an international. Are there junk yards where wrecked trucks go and have there parts sold off ??

I wish I could help. I have tried the same thing. There are lots of salvage lots in Houston but very few are on line. Now more than ever good parts and trucks are going to Mexico.
Here is one in Houston http://trucksalvage.com/prod03.html -

I live in Iowa, and have a couple of good sources for used stuff. I use
www.vanderhaags.com out of several locations in Iowa and they will deliver parts, engines, trannies, whatever to the closest location to me. I also use www.samsriverside.com out of Des Moines as well.
You might also try www.heavytruckparts.net or do a number of searches online for used truck parts in your region. -
I've found stuff on craigslist from time to time.
