I hear Hard Drive

When it comes to the radio,yeah it is all about the tune...As all of us here know that no matter how good or powerful a radio is,without a good ant set up its pointless...
Lol its like haven a big block with a blower on jack stands sayin how fast it is..

You definitely don't want to take
Kool-Aid from anyone. Anytime somebody makes claims without offering any sort of proof it shows they have no integrity. If you don't hear them from coast to coast in all lower 48 States their opinion means nothing because they are a nobody.

 

I don't have any skin in the game,but from what I can see nobody's doing it like Mark is.

If I cared more,I'd try to reach out.

 

I hear him all the time when skip is rolling, have always liked the sound and clarity of his station, he knows how to setup a CB, just ask Rabbi, I just hope I am not a member of CB hall of Shame, that's his new topic of discussion, just not very entertaining to hear him bash others, thought he was confident enough in his own work to be above that.

 

Normally he doesn't bash anybody unless they slander him first. Whenever he would look at a radio that was hacked up he was always careful not to mention the name of the person that screwed up the radio unless of course that person happens to be someone who slandered him publicly.

 

To clarify my post, he really isn't singling out one particular person , or business, he just made reference to a group as the "Scranton Boys" who by his assessment have terrible sounding radio's , which they probably do , over modulated, garbled, junk, it was funny at first, but it's getting repetitive, that's all. As I've stated before, his station is one of best sounding I hear.

 

Over the years i have gone through that general area,alot of the times its worse than the fb drama you see,now add the garbled,over modulated scatter boxes that some are so pround of.

 

Craig, I have been out here 25 years now, and I am still amazed that drivers , and other cb operators, pay good money to have their radios sound like junk , and then with the echo cranked up, good luck trying to understand a single word they said. I was guilty early in my driving days, trying every radio mod available, thinking I was top dog, but now I primarily use 4 watt radios ( eg. Cobra 29 ) with good antennas and communicate just fine, you won't find me on the " Bowl " but I obtain information when I need to.
