He definitely makes a loud & clear trip up here (NE Ohio) almost everyday.

 

I hear ya...Thats partly why i want clarity vs the big watt #,i have a hair of echo on my radio and thats about it..Dont need turbo echo this and super mod kit that,just a nicely tuned radio that gets out and is pleasant to the ear..

Seen vids of the crap people do to their radios and it does nothing but make noise i side and on tx/rec of those radios..

 

He just made the trip to Santa Maria California and showed us how worthless the Mauldulator in Tucson Arizona is.

 

Yeah everyday he sounds like he is sitting beside me.

 

Listening to channel 6 in NC yesterday. Even though it is a hacked up receiver, Fun begins @ 4 hours and 15 minutes. Would have sounded much better on a properly tuned receiver with a wider dynamic range AGC.
Splatterbox on a 16 element beam vs Fine Tuned radio on an omnidirectional antenna. The results are pretty comical because they are so predictable.
