Sorry to hear that. In some cases neighbors are like family, RIP.

 

I feel like a cold climate trucker today. My airlines froze up. I was sitting in my warm pickup after barely getting big truck started. Heard a loud popping sound that I never experienced. Thought it was the plant I park at. Nope. Pressure valve on the compressor. Got that thawed. Finished putting supplies in truck and doing other minor repair, put all tools away. Went to use my scrubs in a bucket and they were frozen. Crisis levels here!!!

I don’t leave for a few more hours but this pig is going to idle until I’m ready. Greta Thunberg be ######!!!!!

 

Truly sorry to hear that. Some neighbors and friends you come to know, you relate to more than your own family, sad when they pass. It becomes even harder as the years fly by and one day you realize that most have passed on but you...

 

Haven't heard that in awhile, but every time I do it brings a tear to my eye. Should one make it that far, as one gets to a certain age, one begins to realize the reality of his/her own mortality. I look back on my last 50 years, wonder where they went, and reflect back on all those good and bad times, along with all the folks I crossed paths with in life...

My Uncle, who is married to my Ma's sister. Not sure how to say it related wise cause it's not blood..

So my uncle's father passed away in his sleep this AM also, & he was like a 3rd grand pop to me.. We are running out of WW II relics over here & I don't like it..

 

I'm an Alan Jackson fan.

They were great neighbors.
Not sure what she will do now.
Its a big house and yard for just her, and she isn't healthy. He was only 67, went out to shovel the sidewalk, dropped dead. He was such a kind man.

The amount of heart attacks must be 10 times of a normal year.

Lol, no...it was this time out. I set the heater on the lowest setting while I'm home. It's like 40° or something. Just enough my stuff doesn't freeze.
