22 is barely a round trip to the nearest store/gas station for me... Town is 20 miles beyond that store.

If wiling, share your getting sick feelings, what response you made, what doc advised/prescribed and update as you mend.
So many opinions, so many descriptions extremes both ways, it would be a service and refreshing for someone to actually recount their experience.
Think it would be appreciated by a lot of us. Thanks in advance if you accept.

"Goats" are tough. I was taken by the CB whip antenna sticking up there by his side, or maybe AM. Old stuff ya know.

My most recent round with Covid, I experienced mild to moderate flu symptoms but no fever. Dry mouth and sinuses. And everything smelled and tasted like ashes. No Dr. Recommendations as I didnt seen medical advise. Worked through most of it, drank lots of Gatorade, ate stuff that had lots of seasoning so I could at least kinda taste it. Took OTC cold and sinus medicine, used lots of vicks vapor rub

My first round with it was much worse. Severe flu symptoms, extremely high fever (104.5 at one point) that came and went several times over about a 3 or 4 day period. Heavily salted French fries tasted like fresh raw potatoe straight out of the dirt. Freshly opened Pepsi tasted like it had set open on the dash for a week. Started feeling crappy somewhere in IN, took me 4 days to get home to ID... Usually do that in 2.5 days. Saw Dr. 3 days after getting home, by that time I felt much better butbit was the soonest he could get me in. Told me to stay home until it had been 10 days since I first noticed symptoms... So 3 days later I was back trucking.

When young, we lived way out in the country in Mississippi. Was so far we piped daylight in on a weekly contract and did not receive the Saturday night production of the Grand Ole Opry from Nashville till late Thursday. It was pleasant and quiet and really a good place for a person to grow up. I credit the gentle nature I have a lot to this environment.
