Would this equipment pass DOT inspections?

IMO I dont see anything that looks scary bad. That one inside tire looks to maybe have the beginnings of some tread separation. And what ever the hell that large panel that is zip tied up might be a little sketchy depending on what it is, but I cant tell what it is.
If I had to guess I would say that equipment is used in construction and gets off road frequently. That would explain the tire damage... And is pretty common on such equipment.

I shared those with a DOT officer im friends with. He broke down in hysterical laughter on the phone with me when i sent the images and i asked if it would pass.

The zip tied picture looks like one of the stands (like a jack stand) they put down in the front to keep them from nose diving when there’s no truck under it and it’s being loaded.Cattleman84 and Switcher Thank this.

Fourth picture is a makeshift mudflap for the trailer.
Don't see any cords/belts showing on the tires.
Actually, the most concerning one is the third picture. Our friendly LEO's could make the argument that it is sidewall damage, which, I believe, is OOS.Bean Jr., Cattleman84, Eldiablo and 1 other person Thank this. -
So have I. It's very important to remember DOT inspections are only as good as the ones inspecting. This is a very subjective thing. Personally, I most likely would put that truck out of service, but that's me, I get a bit anal when it comes to tires.Bean Jr., Cattleman84, Eldiablo and 1 other person Thank this.

As long as it gets there to get the load delivered, customer service is what matters here.
