That is just insane, reminds me of some of the trucks I see pulling containers out of Houston late at night. You couldn't get me to drive something like that if I took home 100% of pay to the truck.

Inside of that truck looks like somewhere they might find Jimmy Hoffa lurking!

    Downright scary....

I'm with the rest who posted here. No way I would take that truck anywhere. I will say this though, say a T800 one time that was the true purple polkey dot. Ugliest truck you ever saw. Parked next to me. CB was full bore about that raggedy POS. You wouldn't be ashamed to eat off the top of the motor. It was that clean when he raised the hood. Hardwood floors, chrome dash, seats looked brand new, every light worked on truck and trailer. The insulation on the underside of the hood was all in place. Hell you could see the grease zerks on the steering axle. Thing might have looked like a POS but mechanically and otherwise somebody took pride in his ride.

Was this job for local or intrastate? not interstate right?

That truck wouldn't last a week once it hit some of these scales out here ...

Just the name "Black Dog" smacks of it being a hayseed outfit.

Needed a job/ Shoulda asked to see the truck first. never even got to opening the hood. Looked like the only wash job it got was when it rained. only thing I can say positive about the truck was steering felt tight. And yes the job was interstate. Gone all week, home on weekends.

Bless your heart atleast you found out before it was too late. This is getting out of hand these companies. Bottom-feeding and expecting drivers to work for nothing. Then when you refuse to work like that or need to get home and have to find your own way. They mess up your DAC report. This has gotten to be a rotten industry and we have got to start standing up to these people. I have my own battles right now to fight and I feel for you.:biggrin_2551:

Yea glad I didnt do it either. looks like its either back to TMC, got call from them but really dont want to do flats again. Or Barr nunn. Or Trans Am. TMC has the best home time. I was home every weekend with them. Then Barr nunn said every other weekend. Trans Am said ask for ahead of time for specific days off. Dont know but looks like it'll be TMC again. At least their trucks are VERY nice.
