I don't like the shower heads PFJ has. Hard to adjust I guess. Oh well, they suck. Love's shower heads at least give you chance to aim. TA shower heads are the worst. You get a choice of trickle or some class of every where spray. Maybe I will just roll around in the snow.

Just got back in from a "shower". Got the same exact shower as yesterday #5. I'm at the Avoca, Iowa J for my reset. It was so cold, I don't think the hot water was even on. Used the toilet then hoped in the shower and literally hoped right back out. Ohhhhh, it was freezing. Got dressed and went to the front desk. Told them I want my shower credit back and it was cold as ####. So they gave me my credit back and called the maintenance guy. I actually managed to feel worse after the shower than when I went in........sucks.

Why bother to take care of the customer?
Pilot/Flying J has thousands of trucking company customers captive to their discount fuel contracts, forcing the drivers of those companies to purchase fuel, shower, etc at those facilities. They have more business than they can handle.
Drivers complaining about such are going to have NO impact at all on whatever bean counter at their company that makes the decision to sign a fuel contract with Pilot.

Went to tge peelot/flying jhole in Pecos Tx. If you’ve never been there consider yourself lucky.
Sign on door said showers out of order.
Went to desk and asked why.
No hot water they said. Was about 5 pm.
Hmm I said give me a key. They did. Went to shower and had plenty of hot water.
Only issue was too many people had taken showers all at once. o_O

Yep , you'll love the butt crack smudge, to hell with a new mattress , maybe wash your ### with a squeegee on the fuel island.

I've noticed it and mostly stopped showering there. I figured it was the managers turning down the temperature at the stores trying to improve profitability. I go mostly to Loves now for showers where the water is always hot, or I'll pay the independents. Pilot/FJ are bottom of the barrel as far as I'm concerned.
