Very little has changed in this sector since you last asked the question.

Don't call me scum unless you know the whole story ****face... You're just like everyone else, I thought professional drivers would be adult enough to answer the #### question instead of poking fun... I have extenuating circumstances that doesn't allow me to get a job driving commercial vehicles until the next 5yrs at least...

Aww I'm sorry. I just called you scum bum as a tribute to one of the best movie characters of all time, who is sheriff Buford t justice from smokey n the bandit. But seriously, it does make sense now why u won't just get your CDL. You're on that SSI gravy train and don't wanna mess it up by actually going to work. If you're on the govt dole bc of serious mental issues, then tbh, I wouldn't want you on the road in a commercial vehicle. Especially one that would have children in it. You should just find a menial labor job doing landscaping under the table and just go on about your life. That'd be my recommendation.

Got a family member as a school bus driver, he hates it. Been doing it for 20 years.

    BS aside.
I drive a school bus. I own and operate a small fleet of em. It is by far hands down the best job I've had.
On the roads no one respects you. I don't have a problem with the kids.
I would never drive for anyone else however. Contractors, bus companies and school boards rarely offer support for the driver.
The driving part sure will give you driving experience in a big vehicle, with an arse load of tailswing. But if you screw up in a bus, you are screwed. Especially if you lose control and do something silly towards a kid. Read the news.
Or read the last thread you started on the subject.
And if people you don't know get your goat over the internet, it might not be for you.

Wait a minute dude, no offense here but you’re getting mad at someone for making a rude comment “without knowing the whole story,” but you have adamantly refused to tell the whole story. When you do that, people are going to draw their own conclusions. Just saying! Not trying to be mean or anything.

Now with that said, you did get a few good answers to your questions. So... did you get the answers you needed?

100%. Although, are you sure about that not beating other people’s kids thing?

    Flint1 Thanks this.

Since it will be at least five years until you get your CDL I think all this fact finding you're doing is pointless.
People have gone out of their way to help you and all you do is keep asking the same questions over and over again.
We're going to give you a vacation. When you start the actual process of obtaining your CDL you can contact one of our Admins and they'll probably restore your posting privileges.
Please do not create another account using another name or your membership will be revoked permanently. Thanks.
