Now that @Moose1958 is on the mend and in caring hands we can be grateful for modern medicine. He may still get jealous when bacon is mentioned but I can’t help myself and my love of gravy enhanced breakfast remains. The day is off to a great start.

Yes, I can catch my breath now. Keri and I are about to walk some. Then we will come back home to be a part of a zoom court hearing about Saturday morning. I got an email about 30 minutes ago that the commonwealth's attorney is going to ask for the ex to wear an ankle monitor as a condition of (the OR)bail. Keri is going to be with me for about two more weeks. Then in about a month, she has a meeting with her employer about her job. That one will be in Ft Worth and I plan to be with her for that!. My attorney also said all the paperwork has been filed in regard to the adoption. I don't fully understand the process but now there is a waiting process then the final hearing will happen. Yes, I feel much better and honestly am not as depressed anymore.
I did have a bit of a heated discussion with Keri last night. Keri and Nurse Ratched has built a firewall around me and Keri want's me to avoid stressful situations. A guy called me over the weekend about a DOT physical problem and Keri exploded. Nurse Ratched just looked at me and said "I'm with her". So it looks like I have two women in my house that are telling me what to do. I will BBL, time to go walk!kemosabi49, homeskillet, Rideandrepair and 9 others Thank this. -

Just walked in, getting ready for the zoom meeting to start. Yes, in the space of a few years I went from a generally healthy man to a man that lost his ability to drive. Fighting through seizures to watching Keri leave several weeks ago. I did really get depressed and honestly was getting lonely. That morning last week when I heard Keri call me daddy, I think I was crying. Sad because of Covid concerns Keri had to go back to the hotel until they could get back into the waiting room and wait for me to get finished. Then had to say bye again because they don't want anybody on the wards.
I will be here while the court session takes place. As I understand it, the ex had to report to the jail and will be there during the zoom meeting. Hopefully, the Judge will order an ankle monitor. We will see!homeskillet, Speed_Drums, LoSt_AgAiN and 9 others Thank this.
