Well I just found out that my company pci reload was just bought out by union pacific railroad. Waiting to see if us truck driver's have a job. You see i work at a reload yard. Its the largest reload yard privately owned in the USA. We are serviced by UP, and bnsf. So if i have no job looks like I will be applying at irt. But I need more than 53cpmLonesome and Speed_Drums Thank this.

Thanks! I don't know about parking at truckstops for hometime, but private yards (don't mind paying for safe parking) I'd definitely be interested in. If I were to move out there I would need parking somewhere in the West Valley (basically I-17 and west) as I'd be living in the Sun City/Peoria/Youngtown area. PM me if you know of any good locations, please.Speed_Drums Thanks this.

@Dave_in_AZ may have some insight about parking in these areas.

Tried calling the recruiter but all they say is put in an application and they’ll answer my questions so I’ll ask here.
1. What is the idling policy? My current company has very strict policy where they will harass and call you on the Qualcomm and phone if you idle to much.
2. Camera’s in the truck?
3. MPH truck’s are set to?
4. For SE Regional is states $1300-$1400 base pay. Is that number accurate or BS? They state Dedicated run that originates where I live in Charlotte NC delivers in the SE and comes back. Wondering what Hometime would be like on this sort of job?
5. Trucks in good quality or they a POS?
6. Orientation and how long is training?
7. Are you happy with the company and would you recommend it?
8. Average miles per week?
9. Pay?
I’m just wanting to get a tanker job to get some experience. I’ll stay for a year to learn the ropes but my end goal is to deliver fuel local. Currently got a year experience dry-van. If you can’t answer all the questions no problem. -
I can't answer any of those questions since it's been 8 years when I drove for them. For the most part all you do in haul the load. The job is nothing like hauling fuel. As long as you have your tanker and hazmat along with your TWIC the majority of fuel haulers will train you. Food grade are smooth bore tanks where as fuel tanks are baffled and have compartments.
