Only 5 k available on a card? I have like 38k. But I wouldn't be surprised if if used 25 they shut it down at that point. Sometime they do that.

Cash is king. Credit can be run and not paid and then you live off the cash.

Cash in a business checking account. Put away $1000 a week minimum, save as much as you can. You need to be able to afford anything that can go wrong. In my opinion, borrowing money for repairs and or maintenance is bad business. If it is an emergency that's one thing. But Don't charge anything that you can't afford to pay off in full when the bill is due.

Just be ready. If you're not sure if "ready" is where you're at, keep saving.

Correct answer is probably as much as f’ing possible. lol

If I only had what you laid out, I’d feel like I was flying by the seat of my pants and would likely make too emotional of decisions.

I been flying that way so long I got cast iron drawers.

The trick to doing that is: have enough cash to fix the stuff that costs a thousand or three, before it turns into tens of thousands. The only catastrophic failure I dealt with in 10 years, that I did not see coming, would be a toss up between two different reefer breakdowns, a compressor and a generator. Both were just north of $4k. Anything else, you pretty much should know you're on borrowed time and be putting cash away fast as you can before it goes tango uniform plus a tow.

I still use the cards. I have like 37k cash, which is light. Last year I put reman trans, clutch, and rented car. I put that on the card for like 7700. 2 months latter I had it done to my usual 800 or a 1000. The card is just a way to buy time. I pay them down normally in a month. But you get an oil change, buy anti freeze, eat off of them, buy power tools, it's back to $1000, pay off repeat.
