Yeah I’ve been telling people that right now drivers employees Market… for those companies that don’t wanna up the pay a match what other companies wanna pay then perspective employees can move on from those places they either Learn or go under… for those collecting unemployment checks And refusing to work on the ones that are the problem… For those that were financially responsible and had a fat rainy day fund and they’re able to take time off during this mess I applaud them because they’re responsible because they’re not depending on others but themselves

Have been on the sidelines for a couple of weeks now. Sleep apnea finally caught up to me and had to do the testing bit. Finally got and used the machine for the first time last night. What a strange experience. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

It took me a good 4 months to be comfortable with CPAP. Now it is easy and I don't notice it, except I am not waking up 5-6 times a night.

$18-20/hr just isn't cutting it. $25 should be the starting point for locals.
Looking at a company driver position at 22% after fsc to start - goes up to 25%. I'd hate to get raked over the coals here, if I'm wrong about this, but it's hard to find part-time work in trucking (I'll be farming pt).

You might try hauling mail. I worked pt for an outfit in the DFW area years ago and made $275 for a 9hr turn.

I did mail a few times. Unfortunately, nothing is available with the company I worked for.

30 days, 17 spent on vacation and I’m starting to develop a twitch and am probably on the verge of doing something stupid— and I think I took the finish off my shop slab from sweeping

Stopped for fuel today at Williams iowa .
Had a great conversation with a carrier enforcement officer there doing some public education...cool guy !
Turns out he has been been with iowa carrier enforcement 12 years and is an ex cattle hauler ..( j arbogast) .
Very approachable friendly and happy to talk ....understands our end of things too.

I got pulled for random roadside yesterday in the middle of rush hour in Orlando on the shoulder. A bit ridiculous as I crossed 2 scales and passed 6 or 7 rest areas were it could had been done safely.
They were doing a outreach about human trafficking
