I’d be investing the money with Lifestyles Unlimited in apartment complex ownership syndicates .

you are. It going to be successful operating three trucks AND working another job .

    just not gonna happen
Your hired drivers WILL NOT work as hard as you. But they WILL tear up your trucks faster than you and a fleet of mechanics can fix them.
Been there , done that. I made so much money with one truck that I bought five more .
    And lost my shirt .

I literally made more driving one truck than I did driving one and having other drivers in the other five .

    lot less headache too.

You would have a better chance of success with that money, to operate a massage parlor in Odessa.

Take your $300k and invest in some rental property.

Finding good drivers these days is like trying to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

$300k could be invested wisely, and grow into Millions over time. No effort involved.

Give it a go with the first truck first and see how things work out. Figure out how to make money with one truck, and only then try to make money with additional trucks.

Okay, while it's painfully obvious to us "seasoned" drivers, you can't blame someone for thinking about SOMETHING, in this work ethic starved society we live in, mom was right, ignorance IS bliss, too bad, today, that ignorance will cost you a lot more than mom ever dreamed. I say this time and time again, if you simply must go into a losing venue like trucking today, by all means, do it alone. I know, common sense SHOULD dictate, if one truck is good, 3 must be easy street, and there was a time when that was true, but do yourself and your family members a favor, and go into internet design, or better yet, healthcare, where the REAL money is. I had pride when I bought my own, I feel you might want that too, but that was 20 years ago and only a fool would buy a truck today, much less 3, please, reconsider.
