The sleeves would have to be straight jacket long. Could you imagine the world’s biggest nut job escaping?

Thank you to everyone for the kind words,it means more than you know. Yesterday turned out to be a nice day and the service was great. My dad had a stroke in 2002 & had been bothered by nerve pain since then along with a shoulder injury from his factory job many years ago.
I was outside Columbus OH delivering Tuesday morning and my wife found him,he passed in his sleep.
He's no longer hurting & he's with my mother and brother now. I take comfort in knowing that.
    Again ,Thank you all.

I lost my last grandparent in 1992, and the first was gone a year before I was born, both my father’s parents. There was about 12 years between them.

It would’ve been nice to have had time to learn a little German so I could try and have a conversation with my mother’s parents, but they too were gone when I was very young.

I heard once that DPFs need to be pulled and baked every 100k or something like that. My truck has close to 250K on it and it hasn’t squawked yet.

A couple weeks ago our crack team of parts changers was running a regen on my truck. I asked why since it just did that the week before. I get the shpiel from the head idiot about “well when you drive in stop and go conditions it might have to do it more often”.

Ok, thank you for insulting my intelligence.

My truck regens about every 3 weeks.

“But, but.... it should do it more than that”.

I’ve been driving it since it was new and that’s what it always did.

I personally attribute that to a manual mode that actually works like it supposed to, so I can cruise down that highway at 1300 rpm instead of 1000.

I was watching a bit of the auto auction on TV. They sold a 73 K5 Blazer for $86k. I had a 73, 80 and 87 back in the 90s. The 73-75 had the full top removal, which was cool, but $86000 for an old run of the mill square body truck?
