Thanks everyone for the support. Oldnewbiegonnabe said "Let the folks here know as much about you as you are willing to tell." So here it goes... I've been out of CDL school since October 23rd 2009. I passed with a 92% Drove a Freightliner with an Eaton Super 10. Type of license is a Class A with MTX endorsements. MVR has a 15 mph speeding on it that becomes 3 years old the middle of next month. I'm looking for regional, but am willing to take otr for a year if need be. I'm married and have a 16 year old step daughter and a 6 year old son. So I need to have home time, at least 1 day a week 2 would be great. I'm originaly from the Northwest Indiana area (Gary, Hammond, Higland) but am now located about an hour east of Elkhart IN and an hour north of Fort Wayne IN. I'm a rocks throw from 80/90 (Indiana toll road) litterally. I've driven tow trucks, both convetional (1 ton GMC and Chevy's) and flatbed (Ford F350 Superduty and International) back in the late 80's to about the mid 90's and as late as 2000, 2001. So I have experience on a smaller scale. Unfortunately nothing I can document. I've applied to numerous companies and have managed to get a respons from a handfull of them. Werner for one said that my 15 mph ticket was their reason for not taking me on. Gordon Trucking said something about my MVR as well. Watkins Shepard said I was too far from their Indy terminal. I got up to getting my employment verified at PRIME, and never heard anything back from them. Anyone have any idea's to help me out? I'd even be willing to jump in with an owner operator that's looking to do team driving, just so I can get some miles under my belt, but like I said, I need home time.
