Mechanical problems & he burnt his leg on it really bad. Sold it soon after and got a Bourget. {edit: thinking about it, if I remember right he sold it there and ordered the Bourget right then}

So I'm just working away in the yard on the forklift today. Go to grab something with the forks and suddenly a Peterbilt just plasters itself into the ditch, literally just on the other side of the fence from me. Guy took a left turn a little hot in sleet and snow.

 

Spent some time eyeballing to see if I'll be able to get a trailer where I want to park it.

Two meddling tree stumps have me a little concerned, but I'm 98% positive with enough careful driving seasoned with a skosh of ignorance, I should be fine.

Hoping to hear back from the dealer tomorrow that they still have the trailer I'm wanting in stock. If so, will go give it a look and if I don't run away screaming, pull the trigger on it.

Lol, yep. 20 horsepower Oil City Southpenn 1/2 breed engine. Flywheels are 56” in diameter.

Wheels were cracked but the crank was good. I needed a way to store it without Mrs. Oldskool complaining, so I wrapped the journals and painted it white, the hung a flower pot under the crank…., she was happy

 

Reminds me of the old cub lowboys
