What if it Snows?

The more inflation the less people will be able to buy. It's a head wind. Wages are not keeping up with inflation. The child stimulus money i think ran out in December. I think credit card debt is high. I really should pop for the wall street journal online version.

I don't get it. It should be a national priority to unload the container ships and release the parts. Parts are short for us and personal vehicles. I'm just frustrated but it won't change anything.

I do agree with your assertion/perception.

Unfortunately the U.S. has progressed beyond that. Now societal powers that be seem content when a person has less than 2 weeks float money in the bank and under $100k in credit card debt.

Recently heard a report that most home owners do not have enough cash reserves to replace a water heater or other major appliance. Have to finance a replacement. They are in an absolute nasty predicament if their cash flow changes at all (illness or job loss).
