Probably should've explained it in a 'lil more detail....
We were on dry interstate, came off of that onto local roads where I hadn't remembered to turn it off, the local road we were on was deserted 4lane no median speed was way low, which is why he "simulated" a panic stop. Didn't turned it back on the rest of the time i was in classes.
Did graduate with a 95%. Now looking for work...

Oops sorry. The above was in response to someone asking why about the CA mile markers.

I got a sitation in CA about 3 yrs ago, for smoking in the work place. I was in the cab(I'm an O/O). Got it thrown out of court. Later sued CHP and won for herasment & lost income!!!:smt033 :occasion5:

That has been my experience too. I've found that OR bears tend to be younger and "meaner" than their CHP cousins. (I find the youngsters tend to throw their weight around in most places I've been....)

WA patrolmen have been pretty considerate and sympathetic in most dealings I've had with them.....(except for being caught with a radar detector one time!)

    FWIW,

    Bucks Owin'

BTW, there IS a ticket "quota" and that was straight from the horse's mouth. Beware towards the end of any month....;-)
