What would the effects be on trucking if the US got into a major war with either China or Russia? What about warfare in Europe without the US being involved?

We won’t go to war, because if we do, it will be over very fast and we won’t win.

Depends on how you view winning. A MASSIVE amount of our supply chain relys on chinese parts. China cuts all trade off with us and expect most parts to dry up in days. There will be no more def for def engines, most consumer goods out the window, economy overturned and colapsed, most common metal goods in short to no supply, near total stranglement of our metal supplies. And thats just off the top of my head.

We have a better then even chance of winning the actual fight, but our economy would be so crippled afterwards it wouldnt matter. Not to mention they may send nukes at any and all of our main manufactureing centers left which would further cripple us and thats before you take into account the airbursts.

Sure we may "beat" china but they would cripple us for generations.

As a combat veteran, our top generals are a joke, he’s right our current military would get our arses handed to us by either China or Russia. Our commanding generals are to worried about bad press and being PC. China or Russia could give two shatz about either one.

The only thing I disagree with you on is that we manufacture most of our own urea. The def shortages you read about a while back were countries that import theirs from China.

Logistical operation against American mainland is unthinkable... Absurd.
All the China and Russia phobes, if you look carefully, you'll see that Russia minds her own business...she wants to directly control what used to be the Sovet Republics - the sphere of her influence. Her going against NATO - absurd!
As for China, other than Tibet, it never showed an aggression towards any foreign sovereignty. You can assert that historically it was a very peaceful nation.
Better worry about a war against the walking Zombies... hard to say who will end up on which side, especially after a 100th vaccination dose.

During WW2 while the rest of the Industrial world was being destroyed, we supplied the arsenal to win the war. We also were dominant in Manufacturing for years, while the others rebuilt they’re Countries. Now we have competition. We still have plenty of manufacturing infrastructure and knowledge. Still the most powerful Nation in the World. Our Military is the best by far. Wars energize economies. Unfortunately there are always forces in the world determined to start wars for financial gain. It’s always been that way. Economic reasons are always at the core.
