There's thousands of loads posted, you got to stand out from the rest.

I had a TQL agent on the phone this morning calling them about a load for the first time in several years - guess I needed a refresher on why to not ever do that again. The guy would not give me any information on the load, just kept saying "general consumer goods" so to find out more details I had to get him to send over the rate con. Which as you know doesn't mean you actually have the load. Turns out the top secret information was it being airfreight picking up at a busy international airport and having to jump through multiple hoops to do so that delivered to near my house at an auto parts supplier. I gave that bull**** back to him so fast. They reposted it 45 different ways after I did that lol

I had another broker call me the other day because my posting on the same lane was higher than his and he was mad about it. Well, i covered my loads for the day and went to happy hour while he was trying to find a truck all day. We might be a little strategic on the postings to generate calls, but brokers shouldn't need or want to lie about the load detail when pitching it to get you to book it.
