Simple, It was a 75 in a 65. Thats $250+court and 4 points. I got out of that. reduces to 69 in a 65. Only paid $25 and no points. As far as the company is concerned it never happened.

Big deal. 1 ticket. thats it. And thats if it ever shows up on my DMV report. Which is not likely. I called them and they said they don't report no point violations. don't think it will hurt me.

That's an interesting point. I don't think warnings are reported either. We seem to be finding new holes in their vaunted rules by the day.

I heard a driver yesterday say the he went to court on a ticket for being in the Left lane, The sign said "No Trucks Left lane" He showed the judge his Registration, it says Tractor, Then he showed the Registration to his Pickup, and it said Truck, he explained to the Judge that Many trucks were in the left lane and were not being ticketed but he was driving a Tractor and was given a ticket. The Judge dismissed it.

It will use the violations "listed" on the actual inspection report. If a citation is written OR not does not matter.

That's why more and more, the signs say "No vehicles in excess of 5 tons"

Makes sense, I know that some officers will write a ticket for a driver, who to avoid an accident will move to the left lane, when all traffic is moving in the same direction, I would think that trying to save the life of the driver in the lane you are in, you would be permitted into the cars only lane. Now I do understand when on a two lane road with aposing traffic, you should stay in your own lane, but not on a freeway.
